  1. A Sneak Peak at the All-NEW Managepro Lite!
  2. Wow, we are excited about this. We've been working on a browser-based web version of ManagePro that runs across browsers, on Windows pcs and Macs. Our goal has been to deliver the core value of ManagePro in a much simpler format, with 0 installation challenge.

It will be as simple as entering the url in your browser, enter your name, your password and your company name and away you go.

We haven't settled on a price point yet, but we are expecting to release it for half the price of ManagePro Standard or Smart.

So our goal is for ManagePro Lite to be:

    • easy to install,
    • easy to use,
    • easy on the budget,
    • easy to push out to everyone in the organization, to vendors, partners, even board members.

It gets better, we're adding IM to ManagePro Lite. That's right, you'll be able to IM (Instant Messaging) to anyone else on your ManagePro Lite database... all within your firewall. But we won't be stopping there, you'll also be able to immediately convert text in your IM to a todo, a progress update or new goal record. Our goal with IM is to get as close as we can get you at the moment to "real-time" information updates and coordination.

Here's a couple of screenshots below to give you an idea of what it will look like. Expected delivery date is now March 15th. We'll let you know the final details in our February Newsletter.

  3. MPro Mobile for your PDA is also on the way and its FREE!
  4. We've also been working a new version of ManagePro designed for your PDA, Blackberry and/or cell phone. It's designed as an add-on for user's of ManagePro Plus, Smart or Lite version, to keep you up-to-date while on the go. Now, you'll be able to do more than pick up your email, while waiting for that next meeting, you'll also be able to access ManagePro.

The challenge we've been working on is how to get fast enough screen refreshes if you don't have Wi-Fi access for your mobile device. If you have Wi-Fi access, the speed is really quick. If you don't have Wi-Fi, and like me have a standard Sprint account, the screen refreshes when in the GAPR view can take 30 to 60 seconds... ugh.

We are finishing some work-arounds for that, and expect to have that product ready to release in March as well. But if you caught that word up there, the Free word, yep its true. For our existing customers we're going to offer ManagePro Mobile for free for the first 90 days in exchange for you giving us feedback on how you use it and what features create the most value for you.

ManagePro Mobile includes one tab for your To-do list, one Tab for your Events, one tab for your items due today, and one tab for your entire GAPR outline view (this is the view that's slow to refresh, especially in large databases). Check out the screenshots below to give you an idea of what it will look like. The first is a GAPR view on a Blackberry, the 2nd is a To-do list on a Nokia phone.
