Top  Previous  Next

Once Users are added or imported to ManagePro as well as Business Groups (if applicable), you are ready to assign Visibility and Editing Rights.

Visibility and Editing Rights control the ability to permit or deny use of rights to see or use specific functions in ManagePro. Visibility and Editing Rights are also know as Access Rights, and Permissions all of which mean the same.

See About Visibility and Editing Rights for more information regarding Types of ManagePro Visibility and Editing Rights. The instructions below address how to assign users  Visibility and Editing Rights.

To assign User Visibility and Editing Rights, follow the instructions below:

1.Right-click on a user name in the People & Meetings Tab
2.Select User Assess (this right-click menu is only available to Administrators)

3.Select Visibility drop down and choose the Type
4.Then Selecting the Editing Rights and choose the corresponding Editing Rights to the Visibility type.

For example: If selecting a Business Group as the Visibility Type, this means that the user is a Business Group Manager first has Full Access to the Business Group he is a member or, and where he created/is the author of records, or and you can choose if the Business Manager should have Read-Only, Limited Access or Read-only access to all the business groups he is assigned to, plus the business group he is a member of.
