Administrator Rights - Getting Started

Top  Previous  Next

The ManagePro Administrator perform specialized functions in ManagePro that are not available to other Users. Administrator is a Visibility Type that can be assigned in ManagePro and is designated to the person who will perform such functions like ManagePro Database Management, Configuration, Customization and User Management. Generally there should only be one ManagePro Administrator to perform these specialized functions.

Below are topic links to instructions that are designed to get you up and running quickly and are aimed at ManagePro Plus Edition or ManagePro Smart Edition Administrator's who have many users in their organization. The topics are listed in the order by which they should be performed. Optional next to the topic below means that the functions is not required to use ManagePro but is considered a pre-requisite setup function if features like Business Groups will be used and if fields and views need to be customized prior to use of ManagePro.

Note: Configuration can occur at anytime, but it's considered best practice to determine how ManagePro will be used and by whom and if views and fields need to be customized to accommodate global and/or business group/departmental needs prior to Users accessing ManagePro.
